VLCD #9 204.0 -2.5 lbs WOW!

I couldn't believe my eyes this morning when I weighed! Down another 2.5 lbs! I stepped on and off again about 10 times. I even weighed my son when he woke up to make sure that the scales were accurate. Sure enough, he still weighed 38 lbs. HCG is amazing! It's good to celebrate these big losses cause you never know when a plateau will come or weight fluctuations.

I have been a lot more active lately with the kids. My son is out of school for the summer already and the other 3 girls will get out June 10. I can't wait! I love summer vacation. It is so good to have the break from work too. I know a lot of mothers are not able to have this luxury. I have always wanted to be home with my kids and have never been able to take time off. It was always heartbreaking for me to go back to work when they were 6 weeks old. So now I am finally able to take a leave of absence and I am so thankful! I thank my husband when he calls everyday. They are not babies anymore; they're growing up so fast and that makes it even more important for me to be here. Today is a good day and I hope everyone else is having lots of success on the HCG Challenge! Thanks for reading.......Pam

Tomorrow's only a day away...

I have been doing Phase 3 for 8 days now. I have been going through a lot lately and decided not to complete the entire 43 day round this time. When I ran out of injections I decided to continue the VLCD for the 3 days and then go on Phase 3. I am looking forward to mixing up some more HCG and begin the injections again tomorrow. I am contemplating doing SQ in the stomach fat this time. I noticed Hcgsupplies.com had sent me some shorter insulin needles in the package along with the IM needles I have been using. I had a steak day today which was very good. I am still proud of the loss so far. I went to see my Dr last Friday and he was really impressed. I didn't mention that I was using HCG. I'm not ready to share that with him just yet. My current weight is 211.6 lbs and I can't wait to begin P2R2 tomorrow!

It's been awhile...

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I have been going through a tremendous amount of stress at work and in my personal life. Not from the diet...that's one of the most positive things going for me right now. I have decided to take some time off work to get my life in order and focus on myself and my weight loss.

The past couple of weeks my weight loss had come to a stand still. Then I decided to do a shorter round when I ran out of the shots that I had made up. I have since have had my TOM and decided to continue on Phase 3 until that's finished this week. I weighed today and I'm up to 211.6 lbs. I should be ready to back on the injections by Tuesday. I'm not going to beat myself up about the gain. I am looking forward to taking some time for myself and getting back on Phase 2 this week. My husband finally came home last Wednesday! I immediately felt the stress go away. It was so nice to finally see him face to face. He noticed that I have lost and could tell that I have lost inches as well! I'm looking forward to getting back on track this week. I will measure tomorrow and post my new stats.

Day 19 208.5 lbs -1.0 Yeah!

I finally got over the plateau! After 6 days at the same weight I finally lost 1 lb. The apple day was great. It was a break not to have to prepare meals. I was allowed 6 apples but they really filled me up so I only had 4 or 5 large apples. I was really surprised that I didn't get hungry or even miss the food. I did get a little thirsty though and was definitely ready for lunch yesterday. I had chicken breast and cucumbers with acv. My goal is still to get below 200 this round. I am going to start walking for exercise today. I have been really slack about it so far and hope it helps me reach my goal. I am really starting to feel great. I have more energy and haven't been the least bit hungry this week. I think I'm getting used to the vlcd. My kids had pizza for dinner last night and that was hard to avoid. It smelled so good....but I just got a half a grapefruit and went into the other room. I have been avoiding being around food that I can't have. It has made it a lot easier on me. With my husband working out of town; it's also made sticking to the diet easier even though I miss him terribly. It will be a month tomorrow since we've seen each other. I hope he notices a big difference in the way I look. My pants are getting loose in the waist and I'll need to buy some new ones very soon :) Currently they are size 20 but I may be able to go down to 18 or maybe even a 16. I've noticed the most loss in my backside. From the back I almost look like a thin person. My stomach is a lot smaller too but I still have a lot more to lose there. People at work have said they can tell a lot in my face. I will post some more pictures soon. Thanks for reading and have a great day!............Pam
